Top Cannabis Lobbyist Amy Jenkins To Speak at Sonoma Valley Cannabis Enthusiasts Meeting
Founder of Precision Advocacy Group, Amy Jenkins is one of the most esteemed cannabis advocates in California. She brings over 20 years of experience in legislative, public affairs, and political campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels. Prior to becoming a lobbyist, Jenkins served as Chief of Staff to State Senator Lou Correa, Legislative and Public Affairs Officer for Solano County, and the Director of the League of California Cities’ Grassroots Program.
Jenkins was included in Capitol Weekly’s top 100 power brokers in California in 2018 and 2019 for helping to lead the charge for California’s cannabis industry and was nicknamed “Pot Girl” in an April 2017 profile by Dan Morain, who is the former editorial page editor for the Sacramento Bee.
Formerly of Platinum Advisors, Jenkins founded her own firm, Precision Advocacy Group, in September 2018. The Sacramento-based lobbying firm serves local government and private sector clients including Orange and San Bernardino counties, the California Cannabis Industry Association, Bloom Farms, CannaCraft, the International Cannabis Farmers Association, SPARC, and Terra Tech.
“I’ve spent the last few years building my lobbying business, but now hope to spend more time in Sonoma, and contribute my community,” Jenkins said. “Given my expertise in cannabis policy, I thought this might be a good place to start.”
Help us welcome cannabis powerhouse Amy Jenkins back to Sonoma by joining her in conversation with moderator Gretchen Giles at the HopMonk Sonoma on Tuesday, November 12, at 3pm. HopMonk Tavern Sonoma is located at 691 Broadway. This event is free and open to the public.
