Santa Rosa Opens Doors to Commercial Grows

Santa Rosa, CA has approved commercial marijuana grows in industrial zoned properties.   Press Democrat reports on 6-0 vote in Santa Rosa city council. Vote was taken after a number of early 2016 public meetings, with SCGA members and others asking for ‘no ban’.  This first step, allowing licenses only in industrial parcels, allows some Santa Rosa citizens a legal way to grow medical marijuana.  A two-tiered licensing scheme allows smaller operators a more affordable way to continue their business.
